* Asset Of Community Value for Sixfields (ACV)

Northampton Borough Council has approved the Trust's application for Sixfields community stadium to be listed as an asset of community value and the listing also extends to the land which forms the west stand car park.

The Trust remains in negotiation with Northampton Borough Council in respect of listing the land adjacent to the stadium which used to he home to the town's athletics club.

 

* Community ownership model for Northampton Town FC

As you may already have read, the Trust intends to hold a public meeting in the near future to discuss potential community ownership models - fan owned or a hybrid model - for Northampton Town FC.

This decision has been reached following a seal of approval from the Trust's AGM in November and also the Trust's board at its January meeting.

Following the public meeting, a proposal will be put to the Trust membership to vote on at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) later this year.

We are still waiting to hear back from the football club in respect of fixing a date for an open forum with Cobblers boss Keith Curle.
