Following our public meeting earlier this week where it was announced the Trust was hoping to meet with Northampton Borough Council - we can confirm that such a meeting has taken place.
A small number of Trust board members met with the Council at the Guildhall on Thursday evening - where we discussed all the potential outcomes of our current situation.
While we cannot make the content of the meeting public, please be assured that we are hoping to meet with the council again and continue what was a positive dialogue - following the council's motion to support the Trust as much as possible.
Cllr Mary Markham, Leader of Northampton Borough Council, added: “We met again with the Supporters’ Trust on Thursday evening as part of our ongoing dialogue about the situation with Northampton Town Football Club. We had a very useful discussion and we will be meeting again soon.”
